Este artículo ofrece una aproximación crítica a los principales trabajos de recolección y análisis que han tenido como objeto el romancero y el cancionero tradicional de Cádiz desde las primeras labores de documentación hasta la actualidad.
 
This article offers a review of the main contributions to fieldwork, documentation and other related topics on the Cadiz’s (Spain) traditional lyrics and ballads, from the earliest attested examples to the present.
