Muqāraba dilāliyya fī maˁānī l-istifhām albalāġiyya

Abstract

Aproximación semántica a los sentidos retóricos de la interrogación”. Este artículo estudia la cuestión del estilo interrogativo y su relación con los procedimientos retóricos, así como su forma de ir alternando de un significado a otro y de un campo semántico a otro. Se muestra también la interrelación de esos significados y la dificultad de discernirlos y de determinar el significado predominante. Se trata de significados generados desde el significado nuclear, basados en una secuencia jerárquica que admite intersecciones y solapamiento de campos semánticos, dependiendo del significado nuclear de la estructura. A partir de un análisis de algunas marcas interrogativas mostramos la compatibilidad entre los rasgos fonológicos y los significados retóricos de esas marcas, concluyendo que la alternancia de significados en la estructura interrogativa se basa en las propiedades semánticas y en los rasgos fonológicos.

A semantic approach to the rethorical meanings of question style”. This paper deals with the question style and his relationship whit the rhetorical meanings and the movement from one semantic field to another. We show, also, that these meanings are interrelated and are difficult to separate, as well as to define the predominant meaning. These meanings are generated from the nucleus meaning in a hierarchy and sequenced basis which allows for some degree of intersection and some overlapping of the semantic fields, depending on the nature of the nucleus meaning in the structure. Based on the analysis of some of the question words, we show the phonologic features compatibility of these question words and their rhetorical meanings. We conclude that the alternation of this interrogative structure between these meanings relays on semantic properties and phonologic features
