La poesía jocoseria en los almanaques literarios españoles y portugueses del siglo XVIII

Abstract

En el setecientos, los almanaques impresos en la península ibérica experimentan un proceso de transformación notable en lo que respecta al tipo de contenidos ofertados. Una de las expresiones más relevantes de dicha evolución consiste en introducir pequeñas piezas literarias de tono festivo con las que se pretende hacer más amena la lectura del opúsculo. El objetivo de este artículo consiste en analizar una parte específica de este armazón ficcional, la poesía jocoseria, atendiendo a las funciones que esta desempeña, así como a los rasgos estilísticos destacables en el conjunto de los versos escritos en español y en portugués.

During the 18th century, almanacs printed in the Iberian Peninsula go through a noteworthy transformation process regarding to the type of contents they offered. One of the most relevant expressions of the evolution involves introducing brief burlesque literary compositions that pretend to liven the reading of the pamphlet up. This article aims to analyse an specific part of the fiction, the burlesque poetry, considering the roles it plays, as well as the stylistic features recognizable in the Spanish and Portuguese verses.
