Políticas culturales para la igualdad de género.

Abstract

El artículo sintetiza en las llamadas «12 piedras en el zapato» las principales brechas de género en educación y trabajo a lo largo de todo el ciclo de vida, desde la niñez hasta la vejez, indicando las políticas públicas necesarias para alcanzar la igualdad entre hombres y mujeres. Al mismo tiempo, reseña la oportunidad que en esta materia significa el actual proceso constituyente que está viviendo en Chile.

The article synthesizes in the so-called “12 stones in the shoe”, the maingender gaps in Education and Labor throughout the entire life cycle, from childhood to oldage, indicating the public policies necessary to achieve equality between men and women. At the same time, the articlere views the opportunity that the current constitutional process in Chile represents in this matter
