Tras la huella de mujeres rurales: un diálogo fotográfico con Estadilla

Abstract

Esta investigación cualitativa pretende estudiar el diálogo entre las mujeres, la ruralidad y la fotografía existente en Estadilla (Huesca). A pesar de la escasez de referentes cercanos al objeto de estudio que supone esta tríada conceptual, examinamos cómo y cuánto vemos a las mujeres en colecciones fotográficas públicas y álbumes domésticos. Vía entrevistas, conversaciones y análisis de material gráfico, se advierte con prontitud, por un lado, la forma subsidiaria de existencia a la que han sido circunscritas las mujeres y sus labores; y, por otro, cómo las prácticas fotográficas realizadas por las participantes pertenece al universo de los cuidados y están estrechamente ligadas a la construcción y sostén de narrativas de vincularidad.

This qualitative research aims to study the dialogue between women, rurality and existing photography in Estadilla (Huesca). Despite the scarcity of references close to the object of study implied by this conceptual triad, we examine how and how much we see women in public photographic collections and domestic albums. By means of interviews, conversations and analysis of graphic material, it is quickly apparent, on the one hand, the subsidiary form of existence to which women and their work have been confined; and, on the other, how the photographic practices carried out by the participants belong to the universe of care and are closely linked to the construction and support of linking narratives.
