Abstract
An approach to the concept of social exclusion in the design of policies for social inclusion in Andalusia is presented. The study begins with a journey into how the phenomenon is viewed through the lens of sociology and the model of social protection. Then the representation of the phenomenon is unraveled through a content analysis of the policies’ texts. Finally, it concludes with the identification of social exclusion in those policies and their consequences.
