La alfabetización ambiental del futuro profesorado de infantil y primaria en Andalucía

Abstract

Se pretende detectar el grado de alfabetización ambiental del profesorado de educación infantil y primaria en formación inicial de las universidades públicas de Andalucía. Para ello se utiliza un cuestionario (CDA) que indaga sobre tres dimensiones: conocimientos y habilidades, actitudes y emociones, y comportamientos. Participan 1.766 estudiantes matriculados en las titulaciones de las distintas universidades y se analizan sus respuestas mediante estadística descriptiva. Los resultados muestran un nivel de alfabetización ambiental no homogéneo en las distintas dimensiones y diferencias entre los grados y cursos en los que están matriculados. Teniendo en cuenta los resultados empíricos y el marco teórico, se propone una progresión con tres niveles: elemental, estándar y avanzado, orientadora de futuros análisis y de la formación del profesorado.

The objective of this study is to evaluate the level of environmental literacy among early childhood and primary education teachers in initial training at Andalusian public universities. To this end, a questionnaire (CDA in Spanish) was used to examine three key dimensions: knowledge and skills, attitudes and emotions, and behaviors. A total of 1,766 students enrolled in the mentioned degrees from different universities participated in the study, and their responses were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results demonstrate a heterogeneous level of environmental literacy in the three dimensions, with remarkable differences observed between the degrees and the academic year in which the students were enrolled. In light of the empirical findings and the theoretical framework, a three-level progression is proposed: elementary, standard, and advanced, to guide future analyses and teacher training.
