los procesos de adquisición de la comprensión lectora The study arises from the interest in improving reading work in the classroom and its
general objective is to identify and analyze the presence in the scientific literature of the
motivational factor and its relationship with other factors in the acquisition of reading
comprehension. The presence of the motivational factor in the scientific literature is
identified, the relationships between this and other key factors that can serve as a
reference to improve the accompaniment in the development of comprehension are
studied, and the conclusions reached are analyzed to identify common elements and
establish lines of improvement in the work of reading. Using a mixed methodology, work
is carried out in two phases: in the first phase, an integrative review is carried out in which
the categories of analysis are established, the work is selected and the variables involved
in the degree of association between motivation and the rest of the factors are related; in
the second phase, a critical examination of the conclusions is carried out to extract key
aspects. It is evident that the attention to motivation is insufficient and that it is necessary
to increase it and pay attention to the effect it has on the improvement of reading
comprehension acquisition processes.
