Análisis descriptivo sobre el concepto combustión en libros de texto universitarios

Abstract

En este trabajo se hizo un análisis descriptivo sobre cómo están organizados los libros de texto universitarios; cómo presentan la relación entre los conceptos combustión, calcinación, corrosión, respiración, reducción y oxidación; la forma como se plantean las preguntas; el tipo de experimentación que proponen. Complementariamente, se determina si presentan aspectos históricos en el tratamiento de la combustión. El aspecto metodológico estuvo enmarcado en una selección de libros y la aplicación de un cuestionario que contenía una serie de preguntas que guiarían el análisis. Los resultados muestran la ausencia de aspectos históricos y la poca relación del concepto combustión con otros conceptos.

In this paper was made a descriptive analysis of how the university textbooks are organized, how they present the relationship among the concepts combustion, calcination, corrosion, breathing, reduction and oxidation; the form like they think about the questions; the experimentation types that they propose; and eventually to determine if they present historical aspects on the combustion. The methodological aspect was framed in a selection of books and the application of a questionnaire that it contained a series of questions that would guide the analysis. The results show the tendencies of organization of the conceptual content, the little relationship of the concept combustion with other concepts and the absence of historical aspects of this concept.
