Abstract

Nowadays, Educational innovation in the area of mathematics and geometry requires the methodologies to be reviewed in order to understand previously non-existent needs due to the current pandemic. In this work, dedicated to the students of the first level of Secondary School, a proposal to improve a Geometrical Didactic Unit is carried out, where it is intended to connect the geometric abstraction with real life. Through the study of learning difficulties and mistakes, active learning, digital manipulation of geometrical objects and the subsequent application in real life (in connection with the historical-epistemological origins of geometry), it is intended to interfere positively in the improvement of the geometrical reasoning proposed by Dina and Pierre Van Hiele.
