Voces de origen español, turco y francés en el árabe argelino del Sáhara a partir de los textos recogidos por los padres Alliaume, David y Lethielleux.

Abstract

Presentamos los 96 préstamos que aparecen en las obras Dictons et traditions del P. Alliaume, Scènes de la vie arabe del P. David y Le moutons del P. Lethielleux de origen español, turco y francés. Después de hacer la semblanza de los tres sacerdotes y esbozar la variedad árabe argelina del Sáhara, ofrecemos la relación de todos los préstamos clasificados por categorías y anotamos los rasgos más relevantes en cuanto a la adaptación morfológica que han sufrido. Si bien el grueso de préstamos del turco y el francés entraron durante los períodos de ocupación de Turquía y Francia respectivamente, los del español llegaron con moriscos y judíos procedentes de la península ibérica entre los siglos XV y XVII, aunque también es probable que se introdujeran a través de la lingua franca.

We present the95borrowings that appear in the work Dictons et traditions, written by Fr Alliaume,Scènes de la vie arabeby Fr. David and Le moutonby Fr. Letheilleuxof Spanish, Turkish and French origin. After giving a biographical sketch of the three priestsand outlining the Algerian Arabic variety of the Sahara, we offer a list of all the borrowings classified by categories and note the most relevant features in terms of the morphological adaptation they have undergone. While the bulk of Turkish and French borrowings entered during the periods of occupation of Turkey and France respectively, Spanish borrowings arrived with Moors and Jews from the Iberian Peninsula between the 15th and 17th centuries, although it is also likely that they were introduced through the lingua franca.
